Unskilled an unaware of it

An interesting article, written by two researchers from Cornell University, got us thinking how people’s minds really work.

Throughout our life in university, we came across many interesting characters – some are great, but some simply obnoxious. Everywhere you go you find people who are full of themselves (which is an expression we’re very fond of) and sometimes it’s hard to know when you’re actually one of those people.

Kruger and Dunning from Cornell University published a research which sums up a very true and fact of life: dumb people think they’re brilliant, and intelligent people waste their life underestimating their own intellectual worth. We can’t help but wonder how the world could have looked by now if smart people had some more confidence and belief in themselves.
